Stockman Sunday picture show

Beautiful stockman, Rob! I've never before seen a drawn swedge like that on the pile side of the sheepfoot, just on the "crown" of the spine, but it makes perfect sense. Perfectly matched stag doesn't hurt the ensemble, either!
Tim is talented and getting better as time goes on, he has some great stag too.
Thanks for the compliment, Jeff!
Very Nice!
Thank you 👍
 We need a different kind of “Like” button for that one. Wow!!!
Thanks, Jim 👍

What model is that? It looks like it is equipped with 1095 blades.
Did Schrade make more than one stockman that size?
The 858 Lumberjack supposedly were all "Schrade+" blades☹️🥺.

It’s an old schrade cut co era pattern, the 81043. Mine isn’t the only example that can be found with a schrade walden stamp, so they clearly made them in the 1946-1950’s era but didn’t catalog them. They are not an easy pattern to come by.

I’m pretty sure the 858 lumberjack was only made in stainless, whether stamped with + or not. The 81043 and 858 are similar in size but are not the same pattern.
