Beautiful bone on that Ulster.

You must be in the northeastern US, that looks like Eastern White Pine.

Camillus four line Premium Stockman

While attempting to date my 4 line Camillus 33 EO jack, I learned there were TWO different 4 line tang stamps: The earlier had the year (small font). after "USA", and was discontinued c.1922.
The latter did not have the year, and was used "in the 1930's to 1945".
In 1946, Camillus went to a 3 line stamp.

My 33 EO has the later 4 line tang stamp.

Please forgive the question.
Does your beautiful stockman have the early dated 4 line tang stamp, or the later dateless 4 line?

I love the random (by hand?) jigging on these earlier Camillus knives.

Thanks, It has the later stamp.

RickHuf RickHuf Admiring that Monster IX*L  Most unusual Shadow construction, Bird's Eye rivets makes it look like a Blue Whale:D Seems it has harpoon wounds too......

Thanks, Will
There are some notches filed into it. I'm not sure what they are indicating... It is deliberate and kind of interesting. 😀. Maybe successful hunts or something else like unsuccessful marriages.... 🤣

Beautiful Ulster! 😍🥰
do you know which era it was created?
Sorry I’ve been away for a couple of weeks. To answer your question fishhunter. Honestly I have no idea what era this Ulster was made in. I’m guessing it was made by the same guys that produced the camillus
