Stockman Sunday picture show

Buddy of mine found this in a small box of knives in his late father’s things. Was pretty rough but did what I could by hand and got it cleaned up and sharp. Love cleaning up old knives for non knife freinds that find a parents knife. Sometimes they get the itch and a monster is created 😀

Been a while since I've posted. But, I had to share this acquisition.

Some here may be aware that I love my mid-70s Case 6332. It is still the nicest production medium stockman I've seen to date and probably my favorite carry of all time. I started looking for more reverse gunstock stockman, but I don't like the lines on a lot of them. Queen, however, put out a nice premium reverse gunstock stockman I've had my eyes on for a while.

Finally pulled the trigger and have the 6332s biggest brother. The bone sold me on this Schatt & Morgan '91 keystone series; 043150. Large at 4 1/4". Definitely fills the hand! Fit and finish is stellar and I would argue meets GEC quality. Pinned shield even. Nice snap on all blades. And speaking of blades, I love the shapes; a nice large full sized clip, a tall but slicey sheepsfoot, and one of the nicest spey blades on a stockman I've seen. Certainly not disappointed!!
