Stockman Sunday picture show

Will, it’s not boastful if you back it up! 😜Maybe you could treat us to a picture of the Mark side, when you get a chance. 🙏🏻 Case definitely has put out their share of beautiful knives over the years. Here’s the seller’s picture of a 1972, 6375 pattern, stockman that is probably the pride of my collection View attachment 2799287Lance
Great knife you show. Best I can do, but I assure you it's a wonderful example of CASE Chestnut Bone :)

It was pouring down buckets this morning. Since I was already cooped up, I decided to combine unpleasantnesses and get the taxes done as well…

You don’t see those HPs often. I don’t use my 41CV any more because it has some sort of internal short and eats batteries. Now I alternate between a 15C and a 35S.

Fantastic bone!

Working on the CASE

Chestnut bone is one of my favorite Case covers.

Parker Frost brown bone and green bone. The jigging on these was exceptional.

I found the old 12c in the thrift store several years ago. I really have no use for a financial calculator, but HP people are even crazier than knife people, and someone published a way to program trig functions for it. It takes a few extra steps to convert DMS to decimal degrees, and the program uses up all the memory registers, but at least it meets my daily needs for quick calculations.

I have the 35s but don’t use it much. At some point I may convert some of the many Casio programs I wrote to RPN and see how I like it.

I would love to find an 11c or 15c in good condition, but I’m not willing to pay what they go for on the Bay.

Here’s a quick pic to keep things stockman-related:
