Bruce, I had one of those and foolishly let it go down the road. I really like those olive green covers and the pointy pen.
This may be the first stockman I ever bought: the brown sawcut sowbelly from RR. My photography wasn't very good back then.

I’ve done the same Jeff, trouble is you don’t know which one you will regret selling until sometime after the fact. I think everyone who posts here regularly gets better at photographing knives with repetition. We each develop an identifiable style too. OH

Love that thing! I carried an UH 885 every single day for thirty years. I still have it, but it's been retired for a long time. I may be mistaken, but didn't I buy its replacement from you a few years ago?

I think you're right, Ironbut, back in 2021 according to my records. I've had several of them, but this early SW isn't going anywhere else.
