Stockman Sunday picture show

Been carrying this Dixie for a few weeks now in spite of it's inferiority to the previous run. I think it will get another week before I get distracted by the 85s showing up.;)

Good pic, Ben. Your Hill style longbow looks nice. It looks like there is no snow in your part of the state?
Sunknife, yep, the snow is just down to the shadows and big drifts, and they are getting pretty small here in western Illinois. Finally!
Oh, and thanks on the bow! Got it recently: a J.D. Berry "Vixen" nice to look at and fun to shoot.

Just got this Case medium stockman with punch in the mail.

This is my first stockman pattern and I think I'm going to like it a lot. The blades appear to be hollow ground but could use a good sharpening. It also seems like there is a recurve in the clip blade. I read that the punch was supposed to be stainless but mine is marked CV.

This Case 6344 medium stockman was the second Case that I bought and one of my favorite knives. It's classified as a medium, but is on the smallish size at 3.25 inches. The pull is comfortably light (maybe a 3?) but the snap is crisp and authoritative. It features a pen blade along with the clip and sheepsfoot. There is only a slight bit of rub between the pen and sheepsfoot. Covers are Rogers corn cob jigged blue bone.
