I've been carrying my Camillus-made Schrade lately. You can tell by the scc tang stamp, the one handle pin, and the pivot pins.(ca 1980)

Hey OB - It could be. No other tang stamps or patent nos. on this one. I'm looking into it but I think it could also be a 50th Anniversary Schrade 80T....here's a link to a previous discussion from YEAR's (13) ago here on BF.You Craftsman Stockman looks very similar to the stockman knives made by the old Colonial knife company. Either under the Colonial name or under their Ranger brand name. Here is a picture of two Colonial knives for comparison. The one on the left has the Colonial tang stamp, the one on the right has a Ranger tang stamp. Both have, patent 3,3317,996, stamped on the spey blade tang.

Something about a Case knife with black handles, smooth or jigged, always appeals to me. I think maybe its the oval shield that works well with black, anyways that's a good looking knife, Mike.
