Church is cancelled! No need to decide! I can watch Bob Vila in my pajamas with cinnamon toast and all the knives I want!

Except for the tiny Gebr. Hoppe third from the bottom.

Last time, I posted a Schrade Old Timer 34OT Sterling Silver 25th Anniversary. It's hard to top that with the stockmans in my collection. But, here is one of my heavy users; an 8OT. I also believe it is likely one of the oldest ones I own as it has the Schrade Walden NY USA tang stamp. I love the long match strike pulls on these.

Those old 8OTs were made from about 1963 to 1973.
I have never been able to narrow that timeline down, the first [1961 bone handled knives ran about 2 years.

What an absolutely gorgeous knife 🤩 And thanks for that information! I love learning about the history of my knives, guns, and tools.

A little smaller than a Case 18, it pairs nicely with my bayou ace.

This knife is really neat for me to see . John Howser RIP ,he used to have a supply of bone from this company. Scales pre cut for a giant gunstock . The prettiest bone I'd ever seen.
