Stolen Stuff at Blade.

Was it reported to the police? The Hog Ash is pretty Identifiable long shot but it might be worth it.

I get angry just reading a story like this.

I hope the fool has the audacity to post the stolen stuff online and gets caught. He deserves it.

David...do you have any pictures that you could post of the stuff that got stolen? Please post if you do.

Sorry to hear about your loss bro.....I can't stand crap like this and hate the people that do it more!:grumpy:

Ouch! That's really awful. Very sorry that happened to you and will keep my eyes open for the scum that stole your stuff.

Sorry to hear that, David!

I'll post that incident in our German forums at the Busse areas!
We'll keep our eyes open for you :)

THat

STINKS!!!!!!!

Ears to the Ground ....as Cougar would say.

I hope they WIPE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF!!?!??!?!??! :grumpy:

David, very sorry to hear this. Think maybe the hotel has any cameras on their grounds?

Thanks everybody,

A little update;

Hotel's Insurance said; no way, not their problem, there is a sign. they were rude
Hotel said; too bad, should not have left the stuff in the car. they we even more rude.

People suggested my homeowners insurance would cover it.

so I talked to them;

They were nice but, said since I used the knife to make sheaths it was a business item. All the sheaths that I had brought to the show were business items, all the rhyno's were business items.

All that is covered on business items off of the property is 200.00

oh & there is a 500.00 deductible !!

Last thing was if I made a secondary claim my rate would have increased about 400.00 for the next 3 years then it would slowly go down.

The insurance people said maybe the Amex card I used to rent the car would cover it, so I called them.

They said they would cover damage to the car but not stolen stuff.

I paid for the HOGASH with the card, so I thought maybe I could get something ?

Well they then wanted to know what I paid for it, I tried to explain that would be hard to say because first you have to be a HOG....................she did not get it. They said they would only cover the actual purchase price of about 180.00 not a replacement price.

Oh & the kicker is that it had to have been bought with-in 90 days, well I paid for it longer ago than that.

I do feel good about being honest with them even though it sure would have been easy to fool the system,( I have Busse Receipts for stuff I bought at the show for about 2 K thankfully none of that got stolen ) glad I chose the right & honest path.

So looks like it is a life lesson.

Not as bad as it could have been & I have been blessed with great family & great friends. A few of those great friends/family have already gone above & beyond, thanks guys.

Bye Bye OINK knife you will be missed, a moment of silence please ;)

Did you check with your car insurance to see if it would cover a rental on theft?

Crap Dave, I am sorry for your loss. I can't do much from here but I can look at flee-bay and other forumish listings. Hope that who ever this is (one or more scum bags) get there come upens.

this is why insurance is a scam, you pay for all kinds and they all say its not their problem. so have you checked to see what kind of insurance would have covered this?

I will be on RECON for this assault.Thats crap where I come from and I
pray carma is on your side.I am Ebay god and will watch like the hawk.
May the force be with you fellow HOG.

That's some BS. I'm sorry to hear that. You are handling it way better then I would. Karma is a bitch.

Can you at least write the loss of on your business taxes? Heck if the room and meals are deductable, the "donation" ought to be to :)

I too have learned this lesson the hard way. DON'T LEAVE VALUABLES IN CARS WHEN TRAVELLING. I got my rental car broken into in Spain, so this is definately a world-wide problem. Hope you recuperate your stuff.

Sorry to read about this Dave. Watching and waiting..................... for a foolish thief to poke his head up in our sights.
