Stolen Stuff at Blade.

I wonder if Jerry would be willing to make you a replacement HOG knife? Have you mentioned this to him?

I'm so sorry this happened and even more disgusted that no one will help offset the expense of you loss (other than the Hogs). You've handled it like a true Hog. I had a pair of shoes walk out of my office recently. Also, I had flowers delivered to my wife and the vase for them disappeared before she even got them. I had to apologize to the school secretary yesterday for losing it a little after the principal and I discussed it further. I tend to speak my mind and sometime I can, as my wife puts it "embarrass" her. I'll keep my eyes open. If these guys have any sense at all they'll contact you and offer to return the stuff and beg for mercy. That which does not kill us....

If there's anything I can do, let me know.

I do feel good about being honest with them even though it sure would have been easy to fool the system,( I have Busse Receipts for stuff I bought at the show for about 2 K thankfully none of that got stolen ) glad I chose the right & honest path.

So looks like it is a life lesson.

Not as bad as it could have been & I have been blessed with great family & great friends. A few of those great friends/family have already gone above & beyond, thanks guys.

I REALLY, REALLY hate life lessons that come my way like that. Your attitude about it is really inspiring, and the next time my insurance has it's way with me without the benefit of any lubrication, I'm going to think about this incident, and how much class and patience you've displayed dealing with it. Hat's off brother.

I'm sorry to hear that this happened to your man. I'll keep an eye out on the internet.

Damn that sucks, some of you guys should consider posting a "wanted" ad on craigslist for knives matching the description of the ones stolen. Maybe the thief will respond, and if not you may score a sweet deal instead....

More than likely it was a pair of crack-head lowlifes who have no idea of what the knives are worth. They will end up in the ghetto for sale to some punks that will abuse them or sell them for $20 bucks each. I lost a Randall and some other knives out of my jeep 30 years ago and still wonder what happened to them. After I got over it was my hope that they would be appreciated for what they were and taken care of. But from the area I lost them I knew better. Hope you can get them replaced.

I’m real sorry to read about that. That’s just awful! I check out the bay pretty often and I’ll certainly keep an eye out; (I copy/pasted your information down onto a document – email and your site as well to get a better idea what to look for). I wonder if they are dumb eneugh to try and sell it here - at a later date as if they think that people will just forget about it? Hell, they were dumb eneugh to steal it! Again, I'm sorry that that happened to you, I’m disgusted!!! :thumbdn: :grumpy: :thumbdn:

Good on ya for not trying to stick it to the credit card insurance with the other items you had receipts for, it sure isn't worth it for the risk of fraud/criminal charges. An on top of that, you would just be passing the cost on to everyone else. What does suck is that you pay into your insurance for home owners, car, business, etc and their whole goal is life is to take your money and screw you.
