I got mine today. The bird poop micarta looks really good (and I'll have to stop calling it that, as it doesn't really look like bird poop - "rattlesnake" is a much better name). It feels good as well - enough texturing to give it a bit more grip, but not rough on the hand.

Pretty robust BTE (I do wish Busse with give us that information up front, as it varies a lot between different models), so more of a beater than a slicer. I may convex the edge a bit.

I was really happy with mine probably one of the coolest scales I’ve had my hands one. The one in my collection is here to stay.

Totally! In a Busse group on FB, I joked about starting a rumor that Jerry Busse Jerry Busse found a stash of "Rattlesnake skin" micarta when I received mine...for laughs, of course, but the micarta on these definitely reminds me more of rattlesnake than stone or bird poop... 😁

OK, I get it... that micarta is really awesome stuff. Somehow, I am most smitten with that STONE Washed Finish over CBT INFI w/ a bad to the bone fuller. Can we please get more STONEwashed INFI, BOSS?
