Storage/Display Dilemma





Since that was taken the two bottom draws are done in the same style as the top. One draw, with knives up on their edges holds 17 blades @ RMD size ;)

I see 9 ASH-1s all Magnum slabs, 1 Skinny, 1 or Maybe 2 .22s, all
The rest Fat .32 ASH-1s.. Beautiful Hog ^ö^
 
5 x ASH1s (1x.18 1x.22 3 x.32 1 standard slabs the rest Mags). 1 x DF 2 x NMSFNO 2 x M9 2 x B10 1 x "Not Sure" (RMD LE Maybe) 1 x 711 1 x B6 .... ;) Its an old pic...there may be another ASH ...or two....

That are sold as tool boxes in the US and jewellery boxes here... ;)

And yes only 5x ASH1s....but that is an old pic...
 
That wall piece is very nice, sadly I'm running out of storage space for nices.....

These damn FALs keep pushing them out the safe.
 
In the top section and the two bottom draws and added slotted timber sections that allow blades to stand on edge. I use the smaller draws for folders and small fixed blades. I have some pics at home when I get back tonight.
I started laying knives out.........
I've run out of room and may try to put them on edge.
I've also bought two more vintage Gerstner machinist chests to refinish. I've been buying a lot of folders lately and plan to put them in a separate chest.
 
still a preview - i am still waiting on the modular fixed blade and folder attachment / mounting parts - and the lighting system needs to be beefed up - unbelievable how many lumens it takes to light the knives perfectly - but i am getting there... :D
