I finally got around to organizing the collection by maker in the Nalpak Pelican case. I even went and added some paper towel at the bottom of some of the sections for the shorter knives, so they're all equally accessible. How do you store your knives?

Bonus pic of the big boy that prompted this organization.

Beautiful set up you got there. I want to get one of those soon (or something very similar.) as it is now, my favorites are in the safe, in the boxes, a bunch on TOP of the safe lol… and a shoebox full of cheaper knives.
My normal EDC rotation of about 5 knives stay on my desk so I can grab what I want in the morning… quick question…
Do those pelican cases lock?

Yes, it can be fitted with padlocks.

I appreciate it! And yes, the cases both have incredibly robust snaps to shut them, but they also have two holes each meant for locks to be attached.

Suggestion: instead of a paper towel, use a silica gel or dessicant pack. It will provide the fitment you like and protect the contents from moisture.

Not a bad tip! I use paper towel as I can modify the size of the towel for different length knives (as I try to get them all around the same height within the case). I have had dessicant packs in the case before, though, as I usually keep it underneath the insert!

I use Spyderco's Spyderpac, both large and(recently aquired) small size for my folders.
My fixed blades live everywhere depending on their use.

Just got this desk organizer thing from Amazon. It sits atop the back of my desk, which makes more room on the work surface for sharpening gear instead of a jumble of knives. These are mostly knives that I often carry out and about, except the two on the bottom flat space that are for farm chores.

At first I just kept them all stringed on a leather belt. Then I made a few tool rolls. Here they are not completed, but at a functional stage. Easy project.

Really trying to find a good solution for storing my knives, maybe displaying. What is your solution to this problem, because I really hate the drawer full of clutter?

I have a nice knife case with drawers and on the very top drawer it has a glass window.
