Photos Storing your Collection

I think so, lol. One of my knife buddies is a numismatist.
Mercury/Barber I always get them wrong, not a coin collector or numismatist.

Nice lot though

I bought a three drawer toolbox like this that I keep on my nightstand. At the time, I thought it would never fill up, but I’ve added a few bulky fixed blades since then. It is nice to quickly see if I forgot to return something View attachment 2267434View attachment 2267435
Very cool!!! But my wife would never allow this in our bedroom or anywhere near the inside of my house outside of the garage.

I use the leather knife rolls. Used to be able to get them at SMKW. I have a heavy duty freezer bag with knives in it in my dresser drawer. Probably a gallon size I guess. And a few on top with my wallet keys nail clippers etc.

My wife is surprisingly understanding of my knife hobby. The toolbox helps keep my clutter limited to one room of the house (sometimes).

For fixed blades, I'm using an architect's file drawer. Not sure I'd pay new prices for one for this purpose, but you can find them second hand pretty easily.

I need to glue down the felt, you can see it isn't flat. I was trying to avoid that in my first attempt - I don't like glue for things like this, but I guess there's a reason people do it. Securing the edges doesn't work, felt just stretches.

Top drawer of a rather heavy, locking file cabinet or bigger, heavier gun safe. I try to stay away from small, easy to carry cases that advertise the contents in the Methwest.

I like the Plano 3700 Pro Latch flat boxes. Not really a display, but a great way to keep knives stored and not banging into one another.
