Hello everybody, Julian from J's Knives-N-More here with some good news....I just saved a bunch of money.....just kidding
I have been drooling and waiting for the right time to purchase one of storl's (goinggear.com) awesome misch-metal/ferro rods. I ordered the 4" x 1/2" with the storage cap and it's HUGE I will put a few pics below for a size reference. This thing is incredible, it shoots a mean spark - I mean molten glob of heat
I kept playing with it and showing my fiance when I got it and she kept freaking out because she was worried that the carpet would catch on fire These things do exactly like the videos show, the sparks/globs of insta heat go all the way to the floor and even bounce once or twice before going out.
storl was also gracious enough to include a goinggear caribeaner which I use to hang my rod on my left side belt loop for ease of carry, and a really neat tube that can store just about anything from pj cotton balls to a minimalist fishing kit. Great guy to deal with and I look forward to getting another rod with the wooden handle in the near future.
Here it is in hand:
Here with the extra goodies:
And here next to my full size Socom Elite:
Don't hesistate to deal with storl, great guy, fast shipping, and good communication
