What a disappointment. I can't say i'm surprised tho, the whole 2018 lineup is a joke. I hate that kind of grind on the tip, especially when it's coupled with a standard grind that transitions into it. Cold steel where clearly drunk when they brainstormed ideas for 2018.After receiving mine, I agree with the above. I don't like the blade. I do like the handle even if the shiny finish isn't my favorite.
The silly convex grind they're doing at the tip like the Spyderco Vallotton and several WE Knives...it's clearly done by hand and it's sloppy. Not even close to symmetrical. The main portion of the edge is not ground especially thin as I expected.
Small gap between lockbar and scale. Some lock stick.
Already boxed mine up for a return.
+1Now all my 2018 hopes are resting on the Bush Ranger!
Is that your channel guy?
It’s not. Just searched on YouTube every now and then.Is that your channel guy?
That's too bad. After receiving mine, I agree with the above. I don't like the blade. I do like the handle even if the shiny finish isn't my favorite.

So weird that yours is such a gong show. I would have expected the first releases of such an anticipated (and friggin’ expensive for a Cold Steel folder) new model would be stellar. After receiving mine, I agree with the above.
