Straight Back Scandi for BarberFobic1992

Brian, I think it is your best so far. I love simple, fat handles for the variety of grips. How does it feel with a glove on? I use my knives in the winter and if it feels secure with a glove, it's a keeper.

Brian,
Very very nice. I'd add that to your regular lineup. I'm sure it'd be a great hit.

I also like it! Looks like we think alike. Here's the straight-back knife Stomper made me a short while ago:

Great work Brian.
Nice design BarberFobic1992.
A beautiful result from your colaboration.
I hope there will be some action shots posted before too long.:D

man.. that thing came out great Brian... i love the pin configuration...

though i am not much for scandi's, i really like the looks of this one a lot..... great job on the design Brendan.. definitely looks like comfortable user...:)

thats freakin gorgeous man, should make it part of your regular line up.

What's not to like ? Awesome attention to detail as always and a time proven Pukko shape...total class !!!!

My only reservation, and this can be applied to 99 % of Scandi designs,is that I still look at knives such as this and start to think if my hands were cold, wet and my dexterity/motor skill not as good as they should be...what are the chances of my hand sliding down onto the blade !!!!

I know, I know I'm probably worrying over nothing but if sh*t can happen then it would happen to me ! LOL !!!!!

Gorgeous! If it had a famous bushcrafter's name on it you'd be inundated with orders and would make a fortune!
Nice fusion of rat tail tang pukko with full tang strength, a real winner!

G'day Brian.

I like the lines of the blade a lot. A very versatile design

The handle looks like it's hand filling too, making for less hand fatigue in extended use.

When the exchange rate settles down a bit, I might just email you about one :D

Kind regards
Mick

It gets pretty cold in Scandinavia. I don't think they would keep making them like that if they kept cutting themselves...

What an excellent looking knife.......... the only thing left to do is write "USER" all over it with a felt tip marker.... cause thats all I see when I look at it.

Rick

Rick got this idea because he often wakes up in the morning with 'USED' written all over him.

Brian,

The handle may or may not be comfortable - but if it IS comfortable to the end user - then I would not change a thing.

I use gaurdless scandi's alot of the time, and it seems to me that the contours really lock your hand in place, so you don't slip up on the blade often (if ever). I think that maybe they add gaurds to some knives for particular applications and just for people that prefer them.

Hey if you use them all the time and never slip then I guess I'm worrying over nothing !

It's an awesome looking blade buddy and I'm sure it will give you a lifetime of pleasure.....great design !!!;)
