Straight Edge Traditionals

Yes Charles, absolutely incredible collection of wharncliffe knives.

Paul, great job on that one.

The knife above is why I had the knife below made, the thing was so incredibly nice, I had to have one.

So I had Todd build the one below for me, and I could not be happier on how it turned out.
One of my favorite knives, I took it with me to the last Blade Show. Some folks you may know got to handle it.
Tony Bose - Bill Ruple - Bob Dozier - SR Johnson - Don Hanson III - Reese Bose - Steven Garsson - Joe Chamblin and a few others.
So when I carry it now, I have some good memories from it.....:D

The knife was suppose to be #1043 but it's #1048 -- I have knife #43 and I thought it would be cool to have knives, one thousand knives apart.
But I'm close to it - only 5 over - I'm happy.

I love the edge on this knife, there still a nice point on the knife.
At first I didn't know how I would like the sway back knife, but after carrying one, they sure grow on you. :)

Great photos as well to show this beauty:cool: Congrats on this one for sure :D

What is the origin of the sheepsfoot blade ? I always equated it to the old sailors bosun knives where folk lore as I understand it the masters of vessels broke to tips off to reduce knife fights however the sailor esp in those days needed a knife irrespectively
