Stranded in the wilderness with one knife what would it be

I know you said one knife, but as long as I could also have a machete and hand saw that one knife would be a CRK Nyala.

ESEE 6, no contest. Big enough to chop or baton decent firewood with, and small enough to still make tools with.

Of course my fiskars hatchet and rc3 would work just as well, but that wouldn't be one...
 
If I were stranded, it would probably be the same in each case, My EDC, which presently is a Merychin folding Rigging Knife.

OMG, thats funny.... imagine all the dudes that know better, but unknowingly have one of these turds under the tree...

As far as a one knife scenario, I'm liking the looks and quality of a Fallkniven A1 more and more...
 
limited experience with many different makers/models but i'd have confidence in my esee-6 as well.
 
Stranded implies an unexpected event. So the one knife to have is the one you happen to have on you at the time you are unexpectedly stranded.

How do you like it? I've been trying to find a review on one that gets use as an EDC for a while now with no luck.
 
I'd want my SAK with the cellphone lanyard. That way, when I found out I had no cell service, I could at least slit my wrist. Ain't no way I'm gonna' walk out without Stroud or Grylls with me!
