strangest thing you have stropped your blade with

The DLC coating on my ZT 0200...they call it "diamond like coating" so why not?
 
my wife yells at me for using the micro fiber couch but it polishes nice
and it works better than the cat
 
2nd the microfiber couch as for wife yelling at you for using it wait till you cut it.....ouch I will never do that again.
 
Im going to stop now then , unless there is micro fiber in the dog house lol

Haha! I'm not allowed to do that anymore, we just bought new furniture.
The couch we just replaced had several worn out spots and a slice or two in it.

I've used a folded up dish towel and some polishing compound. Worked pretty good but, my wife got pretty cheesed about me using her dish towel.
 
I have the green bar compound now, Is there any thing else as a home remedy that gets finer and works?
 
oh there was also the time I was at the theater and didn't like my previous microfiber couch strop results and used the side of my cardboard movie cup
 
It's kind of more of a steeling, but the spine of another knife I use once in a while. For a compound I used to use Meguiars Paint Polishing Compound. Stuff is pretty diluted abrasive wise, but it was easy to spread. Also I strop on rolled up newspaper occasionaly.
