One time down in Vegas I stropped my knife on a stripper's....well, nevermind. Probably toothpaste and cardboard, didn't work too well but it made my knife smell like a candy cane.

I strop on my hands and arms all the time, I've even rubbed a little .5u diamond spray from my strops onto my palms Mostly just use Roo leather and the Dia spray's though.
