Hollowdweller, henceforth HD, if you look closely you'll see many references regarding reincarnation and karma in the Bible, both testaments. One that immediately comes to mind is, "Master, who sinned, this man or his parents that he be born blind?" And the answer is even more telling. There are literally hundreds.

Jesus disappears for almost 20 years. Where did he go and what did he do? My theory is he went to the Orient and studied the philosophy of the religions he found there. In truth, there is not a nickel's worth of difference between the basic teachings of Jesus and Buddha.

One of the more humorous moments of my life stems from a converation I had with Pala years ago. Pala had never been exposed to a Christian society and had never read the Bible so one day he asked me to explain the basic teaching of Jesus. I did my best and when I was done Pala was deep in thought. He finally looked at me and commented, "Jesus was a Buddhist." I chuckled and said, "exactly so."
 
Uncle Bill, I'll always be thinking of you and praying for you. You are one if the strongest men I know and I know you will be fine.
