Strider AR VS. Extrema Ratio M.P.C. -- a Pictorial Comparison (lots o pics)

I'd say my MPC is balanced right about 1" from the pivot on the handle.

It feels neutral in the hand. Certainly not blade light, but there is a lot of handle and that glass breaker at the end of the knife.

I couldn't figure out what the ER reminded me of and then it hit me. A Spyderco Police. Ok, so maybe you have to be as demented as me to see it, but that opened my mind up to it a bit. I don't find it very attractive, (ok, it is growing on me a bit).

Nice comparison.

Thanks very much, Burch! I've had some interest in ER, and your pics were just about what I needed.

GlockDoc,

The M.P.C. is only available with partial serrations. The Nemesis, however, has the same grind of the M.P.C.'s lower half and has a plain edge (aside from the serrations, the M.P.C. is basicly a Nemesis wearing a steel hat).

The Fulcrum II D is Extrema Ratio's other plain-edged folder. It doesn't look as imposing or bulky as the M.P.C., but it still looks good. :)

Burchtree,

Thanks for posting these Striderrific and Extrema-ly wonderful pictures.

It's a 6-year old thread. The OP took the pics down.
