Strider for wrist watch (Maratac perhaps)

I'm looking for an understated, versatile every day wrist watch. I'm especially fond of those made in the tradition of the Rolex explorer I, though I'm open to others. I'm generally not into big divers. The ideal trades I have in mind are the following: My Strider TAD special edition SLCC for a Maratac Mid Pilot or my Strider SNG GG in PD#1 for a Smiths Everest.
