MONKEY EDGE SMF 3v in DGG & CC , yeah now that I have your attention...

So sometimes I get bored with my knife collection and do stupid things. This may be one of those times ...

PLEASE REAS ENTIRE POST BEFORE PMing me

Thinking about putting this SMF Monkey Edge in 3v up for TRADE only at this point. Possibly for sale later.. you can PM me about it I suppose , but know that I will wait to see if I get any good trade offers first!

This is a SMF in 3v that originally came in the brown/flamed Ti CC configuration.. I ended up with a second set of handles and hardware (minus LBS/screw) for it in the DGG configuration (OD green). Both sets work perfectly fine BUT IN BOTH sets of handles the blade favors the g10 side but doesn't rub. Slightly better centering in the CC scales.

I got some road rash on the original CC pocket clip so James Ivy was gracious enough to hook me up with another one, but in between the flames its a little darker then the original...no big deal just wanted full discolisre. See pics

This knife is supremely bad ass. It's super smooth, right now I have it where the blade falls free when disengaged but there is a TINY amount of side to side play if you grab it at the tip - but ZERO lock rock! The play can easily be adjusted out with the pivot (dont need the pivot tool as loc-tite has never been applied- I use my thumb to hold the spanner side) and when you adjust the play out the knife is still very smooth, it just wont drop free when disengaged unless you shake it a little. With the CC scales I can get it to lock solid in all directions and still drop free... the slight play is only in the DGG scales. The knife has been sharpened and used- so hopefully the new owner will appreciate her as I do- tons of life left in both the edge and lock. Lockup is early for both sets of scales.

I'm mostly looking for trades plus cash on your end.. But I can add cash or another knife (non strider) for the right MSC

OK SO TRADES IM INTERESTED IN (in order of preference) :

Strider SMF CC or DGG (no lego) in "regular" steel is fine preferably 3/4 grind. Strongly Prefer flamed Ti and black oxide blade... must have new style lock up

Strider SNG tanto - Prefer DGG or CC, but lego ok for this one. Strongly pefer black oxide and flamed Ti. Must have new style lock up.

Strider SNG 3/4 grind -- same as above ^^

MSC SNG or SMF - Prefer full Ti handles or CF show side. Would love a nightmare grind! I don't like all the crazy recurves, timascus, "show" style knives or tanto msc's - I just like the "plain" MSC knives.. maybe with some anodizing. Long shot anyway just throwing it out there!

Strider DB (prefer 3v) any steel works- but it MUST be thin stock .19" not the 1/4 inch stock... and preferably not beat to shit.

Hinderer XM-24 Spanto , wharncliffe or slicer

CRK Tanto Umnumzaan (prefer old pivot with no lbs)

CRK Tanto Large Sebenza 21

CRK Large Starbenza

Medford Genesis - prefer camo g10 and Tanto blade

Medford Micro Praetorian- prefer Drop point blade - like the Ti/Ti config

That's about it! Not really interested in other variations of the knives listed.

PLEASE HAVE PICS READY OF YOUR KNIFE - PLEASE HAVE A ROUGH TRADE VALUE READY FOR YOUR KNIFE.

I'm picky and I could change my mind and pull it at any given point...

Don't worry about the flowery pillow case ok?!

Now let the PM messages FLOW!!
