I was talking to Tooj, aka Paul Tsujimoto via email, and he said it wasn't gonna happen.
 
That looks great stripped. I'm with the bluing crowd. I bet that would look cool. Or do the hot vinegar patina to get a stone grey.

Thanks. I do like the vinegar look. I soaked a hatchet head in vinegar, and loved the results.
 
Love the looks of those BK1s stripped. Really brings out the fine lines.
 
That's a sexy Brute. I want to send one of mine off for a full polish at some point. If you smother it in mustard and then wrap some vinegar soaked towels around it you will get some wicked patinas. Stinks like heck though.

looks great man. use it well. very cool blade but i honestly haven't had any interest in getting one since i have the 9.

Thanks. The 9 may chop better, and be lighter, but this is more about the cool factor for me. I love the looks of this thing. Looks bad ass, imo. I also like the heft.
 
true enough. it does look pretty sweet stripped and all...plus your photo skills are always impressive. nice, man

+1 The brute is seriously wicked looking. If I ever win the lotto I'll pay for two of them then get somebody to take a picture of me streeking with one in each hand running down the street in suburbia.
 
If I hit the lotto, I'll buy some, and do give-aways here. ;)
