Hey Warrior, If you don't mind, whenever you get a chance could you please take a pic of the balance point on your BK1?
I did a few more mods on mine and should be done shaping the handles sometime this week and wanted to compare where the original balance was.

I didn't take a photo, but if I place the sharpening choil smack dab on the middle of my finger, it balances out.

Thought I'd post these here as well.
Used the 1 for the first time tonight. Batonned a few pieces. Worked great. Gonna do some dogs over the fire when my son gets here later. Photos not the best, lighting was less than ideal.

That thing is mean looking.
A brute is high up on my want list. There's a couple of blades above it on the need list though, but one day a BK1 will find it's way to Southern Norway for sure.
