Seeing pictures of those stripped Kraton Handled Mark 1 knives makes me wonder when Kabar is going to get with the program and make a run of those in 440-A Stainless. It would make a superb salt water knife.
I'd take this any day of the week and twice on Sunday over a Condor knife. It's a perfect bushcraft knife IMO. Very slicey, Awesome grip, awesome steel, perfect size. I know some people like the look of leather, but the kraton model grip in unparalled.
Well now I want one too....
Girl has a bad ass tweener and STILL respects the mighty MKI. Order now, operators are standing by!
It's in my cart on amazon. I just have to push the button. I shouldn't.... but I want too so bad!
No offense taken. Usually though when someone says to me "Did you google it" I say "Of Course! We SHOULD just stop talking to each other!"
Plus I'm secretly trying to start a Navy MKI cult here....tricky, since it's not a Becker. It will obviously be abolished where the you-know-whats arrive...
Joined the Cult of the MK1 today. Ordered a leather handled, plain bladed one.
