Stripped screws on Gayle Bradley.

That's why I got this set for all my needs.

I like it, but the shafts look kind of thin. I'm not sure if it would be able to break the loctite on the screws.
Thermite is a bag ?

You don't need an impact driver to adjust screws, it's precision over power. yes, Maxpedition Thermite is a small waist pack.

Well in the case of loctite, I think it would take a bit of power too. And oh, big difference between that and what I was thinking :D.

I have that one as well. The screw or bit will strip long before the shaft gives out. I doubt you could damage the shaft with your hands especially by twisting, and bet you would have a hard time trying to bend it. For $6 it is a great tool and compact enough to carry with you.

Alright, I'll probably get that one then.

If you get it, it carries 3 bits in the handle and one in the driver. If you want to carry all 4 in the handle there is a little plastic spacer in it. If you grab it with needle nose pliers and pull it out all 4 will fit in a nice small package. I think they also have a life time guarantee if you ever ruin the small ones which I have had happen with other brands.

Alright, thanks for all the help.

I have too a Gayle Bradley folder with a screw stripped but they don't want to send me another screw or set of replacement screws, not even sell me one. They want to send my knife to them + 25 usd + my shipping charges from Europe. Only for a screw! With my ZT 300 in one day they answer and ask for my address . I've sent to Spyderco Customer Service almost 50 emails but all I got since now are elusive answers!

I don't believe you.

I have all their emails !

And yet you haven't posted any of them. :thumbdn:

Have you contacted the dealer? Getting a knife with a stripped screw would be a warranty issue. Unless of course you stripped it while you were trying to take the knife apart....

Where does it stop becoming the companies fault? If you bought a car and then tried to take it apart, damaging some screws in the process, would you expect the car maker to send you new parts for free?

I was not my fault but I don't want to get them FREE, I told them that I will PAY for it, but 25 usd for a T6 handle screw! I don't want to post the emails because I don't have their permission! I try to be fair, what I have to gain?

If you had a genuinely bad experience then I suggest you post a thread in FEEDBACK: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!.

You don't need their permission to post emails.

About pricing, do you know how much a '94 Escort water pump costs OEM from Ford? About twice as much, if not more, what the exact same model costs from AutoZone. Why not go buy your own screw?

OK, thank you! Spyderco Gayle Bradley is still an exceptional knife, very nice made, fit and finish is great , CPM M4 is very good in edge retention and the carbon fiber handles are well textured! The grinds are even and the edge is centered! It feels great in the hand! I will buy another one and one Spyderco Sage 2!
I love Spyderco products and I don't know what I did wrong in this issue!

Yeah, I'm confused, but whatever.
