Stripped screws on Gayle Bradley.

I live all the way in Australia and when I emailed the Spyderco Repair department, they said they would send down a pack of screws

If you had a genuinely bad experience then I suggest you post a thread in FEEDBACK: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!.

You don't need their permission to post emails.

About pricing, do you know how much a '94 Escort water pump costs OEM from Ford? About twice as much, if not more, what the exact same model costs from AutoZone. Why not go buy your own screw?

I will but I don't know the specs! It is too small! On knifekits they have screws but I don't know what to chose!

If you get it, it carries 3 bits in the handle and one in the driver. If you want to carry all 4 in the handle there is a little plastic spacer in it. If you grab it with needle nose pliers and pull it out all 4 will fit in a nice small package. I think they also have a life time guarantee if you ever ruin the small ones which I have had happen with other brands.

I agree, no way you're going to break the driver bits on anything short of black Loctite.

Suggestion: get a pair of needle-nose pliers and pull the little divider in the handle out. It'll then accept all four bits.

BTW, I have a couple of these, and they are a better (as in: tighter) fit than any of my more expensive compact Torx drivers.

No Spyderco CS for me right now! After a week and a lot of mailling with 3 different persons they told me "As I stated in that email, we do not stock scale screws for any of our imported knives.I cannot send you a set of scale screws because we do not have any to send." So ..............

I got a nice torx set made by Husky at Home Deopot with 6 different sizes

for $7. You need Several Sizes not 2.

If nothing else works take it to someone with good hand skills (a skilled metal or woodworker, perhaps) and have them drill the heads off and then spin the screws out by clamping them with vicegrips, or similar tool.
I could do it with a drill press and the knife firmly held into position. If the knife isn't secure or you just aren't the kind of person who can focus intently on something there could be problems.
Low angle bit, low speed and not much pressure.
Good luck.
