Stripped SHE2?

Are those pits in some of the SHes just cosmetic, or are there air bubbles inside the thickness of the steel where we can't see??
It is only on the external surface flats. If they were inside, you could see them in the primary grind.

This is what an original AK47 looks like under the coating. This is what is in all of the videos, like ¿Garth? throwing over and over again into a tree. And this is only 3/16“ thick and not much more than an inch tall. It does exactly what we want it to do, and doesn't need to look pretty naked to do it.

Well, that certainly isn't pretty. 😬

And it it looks like it is more than just surface. Unless the blade is a casting.

But it I do t for a second believe it is a casting. So that is just plain weird.

As the old cliche goes - Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Naked INFI is ALWAYS beautiful. And so is SR101. :)

The primary grind has rough machining marks, not dimples like the flats. I wouldn't call it pretty, but it is very satisfying. That is why I left it like that for years. I don't have any of the recent CBT, but the CGFBM and hell razors have similar machine marks between the CBT.

My former m.o. RUCK had nice dimples and bevels like that AK. Looking sweet. Those dimples are nothing compared to some of the craters I've seen though....
