Hope all of you (or for Guyon "you all") have a great night. My date is here and I have to go drinking with her   A bummer, I know, but someone has to do h.... errr I mean do it.

Crap... my girl friend is an hour late, what if my chicken is done before she gets here?

Well we were going to go to the DeYoung tonight anyway.

.
tony stay out of trouble, stay away from deyoung stuff and date grils your own age,

if you can find any that old...

Great thread. Good for a laugh. I don't think I have ever had to choke a chicken, but over in Bulgaria I did have to use a bread knife on my turkey. Not as quick and clean of a finish as the axe treatment, but the neighbors with the axe were out of town. Funny watching a couple of Americans chase turkeys in a muddy pen, then ride a bus all the way back to from the village while it squawked and the locals stared.

(or for Guyon "you all")

Why are you speaking Greek? What is this "you all" of which you speak?

The correct colloquial parlance is "ya'll", and it should be used for almost all occasions requiring second-person direct address, either singular or plural.

I think my Mississippi buddy says the plural is "all ya'll".

But he may be confused because besides poor English he speaks Latin, Greek, Spanish, German, Italian, and Japanese.
