Regarding the elusive, mysterious, and insanely talented "Potterma," :D does one have to send their Subcom or Trance to him, or does he just send you a scale and some screws? :confused:

all my transactions w/ Michael have involved sending the knife to him.... so maybe you and him can "work somethin' out" ;)
 
I just got a Wharcom, and plan to put a custom scale on it, but will need some longer screws. Can anyone tell me what thread these use?

DoctaD.... The scale screws are m2.5. I forget the pitch, but its the "common" pitch.

Your beautiful work has inspired me. Now to go order those screws......
 
I took my Trance and Subcom over to the local hardware store and tried out some 2.5m x 45 pitch and they are definitely the ones. They fit both the standoffs and pocket clip holes on the Trance and the standoffs in the Subcom. THe pocket clip holes on the Subcom (at least in my earlier model) are slightly smaller though (2mm?). :thumbup:

yes Mat, that image of potterma's moonglow subclaw is "etched in my memory banks".... it would look great on the Rescom :cool:
I really like the Stayglow handles on this Victorinox Classic I have too... that would also be sweet ;) Here's a lignumvitae "Pottermized" subcomF "biscuit" :yawn::cool:
