suggest a knife in 154cm

MANIX 2 MANIX 2 MANIX 2 :D biased i own one its awesome though

p.s. second choice would be a grip

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I think I might have to increase my budget and spring for the Mini-Onslaught or the Horseman. Why doesn't this steel get as much use as VG-10 or S30V?

its got more alloys, (dont quote me) but i think that makes it a bit more expensive to produce. people only want to pay as much as vg10 because they class vg10 and 154cm in the same way, even though 154cm is better.
its just profit margins from what i see with the limited knowledge i have.

but if you want premium steel, your going to have to pay for it.

At that size and price, you can get a Buck Alpha in Bos' CPM-154 if you can find one (IIRC they also made 154CM ones but CPM-154 models exist). It is around Sage size and CPM-154 craps all over 154CM...

You can also find Kershaw Blurs in CPM-154 such as the LE carbon fiber ones for under $100.

I really like the Benchmade 950 Rift, but comparing the performance of the Benchmade Rift in 154CM to my Kershaw Blur or Kershaw Bump in CPM-154 is a huuuuugggggggggeeeeee difference in performance, at least to me.

date fail for me :(

Emerson; with a little shopping around you can find one close to what you wish to pay.

Hi Rawrzors! If you look above the usernames, you'll see a blue line that will show the date and time of that person's post. This thread is from 2011. It is likely the original participants have moved on. Just FYI, in case you were hoping for a response from the person you quoted... :)
