My Spyderco Chaparral often finds its way to complimentary status often. It is very thin and light. And looks nice to boot.

If you don't have anything against AO knives, the ZT 0770 is an excellent choice.
 
The above mentioned Cold Steel Tuff Lite is pretty nice. I have the Mini Tuff Lite and it is a great knife. Try the Spyderco Cat for something around $46. It has a thin blade and is 5.9" overall. The Chaparral is a nice step up at around a hundred bucks or so for the Carbon Fiber. It is very thin with top flight steel.
