Well folks, it was just too hot to forge here after the Big Show and I had been itchin to get back to slip joints.

The shadows have titanium liners. They all have W2 blades, forged for 2"+ round stock, heat treated to 62-63 Rc. :)

The stag one is in my pocket, but that's another story. ;)

I cant find the proper words here. Outstanding all of them but the damascus and ivory ones do, as you said, stand out.

AWESOME!!!
All have the characters, if i have choose two knives above. Will take all of the swaybacks they are super awesome.

Don Hanson's made a bunch of slippys. All's right with the world.

That stag shadow and the BP Damascus are specially right.

Don, those really shine. We are truly blessed to have some great makers here. I've always admired your fixed blades and folders, but these are really spectacular.

Looks like you've been busy. I really like that stag shadow. You have excellent tastes. :D I can understand why you decided to keep that one for yourself.

Don they're all beautiful but I think you make the nicest Slimline out there! The green one!!! Yeah!

Thanks guys!

I've been a slip joint nut all my life and started making the in 1993, but keep gettin side tracked. :D

Been out in the forge, working the DH 2" stock down, come inside to cool off, and some of the coolest swaybacks pop up, makes me sweat all over again. The mastadon swayback is out of site, I would like to just hold it for a few minutes.

VERY nice slipjoints, all of them. And as much as I like the damascus bladed ones, surprisingly it's this one which I like most:

I'd agree with every single word of that. Beautiful knives :)
