Agreed! Not everyone should expect or even ask for favors. I just felt the need to stand by Gehazi. We are both the passionate types that need to convey our opinions. I felt a little bad about the way I pay so I felt the need to defend myself and Gehazi's viewpoint.
I totally agree with you and I don't want to give newbies to the site the idea that they can make "arrangements" for payment.

The other thing about this layaway deal is that she only has so much space in the shed. The more she has to stockpile layaway items is less room she has for new stock items. There has to be a limit. So if someone should get turned down on their layaway request, please understand that she can't at the time and the more people continually asking her to do so means that others will not be able to.

much appreciated gurkha, and I still stand by the idea that it is ok if you are not a jerk to ask for a hold like many do here -- especially if you are paying within the week; I mean if you would not want someone owing you money for months on end, do not make someone wait for you to pay them-- golden rule always applies! but absolutely understand about getting paid up front, as my own business was failing until we demanded more upfront payment and less kindness; -- but I sell energy and that's a bit different than luxury knifery
so do not think I am just preaching that everyone should ask for a layaway-- I just feel like money is not so easy to come by for many people who really love HI blades; especially swords and larger things ; alinct took the proper path and just got the money from those around him lol rather than asking auntie to hold it -
- but I felt the need to stand up for this because I seriously would not own anything if I had to pay for it up front all at the same time-- pawn shop has also been my friend when I wanted to buy more HI than I could afford at the time, because I can get loans on other parts of collection

Actually it's bawanna, it's a common spellin. Never capitalized. My way of sticking it to my 11th grade English teacher. Mean woman she was too.
Just want to make sure you got a Done Deal before you Pay Pal'd. Sometimes stealth sharks slip in and grab up stuff and the rest of us lower form dog sharks don't know about it. I hope you got it. Also there's a shipping cost added to the price that Auntie will generally tell you along with the Done Deal. I love the sound of that Done Deal, I love reading it, I like everything about it. The opposite Long Gone can be a real heart breaker sometimes.
Got my fingers crossed for ya Al. Give us the straight feed back once you get to play with it some.
