Very cool little place. How often to overlook the little oases right under our noses?

How true! I've been to the park where this trailhead is about 100 times, but never noticed it was there, tucked away in the corner, far away from everything else! Makes me wonder how many places like this are near me?

OK, I just have to ask. I see what looks like one of my favorite knives in this picture; an Ahti Finman. Where did you find it in yellow?!? I'm assuming it is the Ahti that is rebranded by Kellam in their S-Line?

Yep...Ahti re-branded to Kellam S-line, carbon steel. Great little knife. I gave my Clipper 840 to a BF member who was not familiar with the Scandi grind, but I kept this one because I liked it just a little better. Now I'm on the hunt to replace the Clipper, but there are so many choices it's hard to decide!



Thanks for all the compliments for my daughter...she takes after her mother! Seriously, she fancies herself a princess, but she's not afraid to throw down and get in the dirt...best of both worlds I guess! Now If my son would just get to the hiking age, we could all have fun! :thumbup:-Matt-
