In support of our friends in France, I've decided to declare a French cutlery day for myself. This of course means one of my Opinels. Anyone else care to join me? Any French cutlery will do!

I'm in Carl The Opinel is an absolutely fantastic user knife that's price allows anyone to own one. I treasure all of mine but have a particular fondness for my #8 Gardeners Knife here's a picture of it executing tomato sandwich duty. :D

Good idea Carl.

I just changed out my 110 for an Opinel #10 Inox.

I can stand up without listing to the right now.
 
I left my Opinels at home (got one on my birthday Sunday, with a lanyard, needs a good staining of the handle, Inox steel). I will proudly carry them, and Freedom Fries can be French Fries again...

Seriously, this is a horrible tragedy. My prayers and thoughts to our French Bladeforums brethren today, and the people killed and injured in the attack.

Maybe sticking my hand into a pocket to find a Douk-Douk would cause me to think and pray more for the people of France... Into the pocket she goes.
