Surefire E2e HA arrived!

This thing shines in the daylight tooooo. Just turn it on and look at it and then you can(n't) sssseeee

This is was the first thing I did when I received my surefire G2, and probably wont do again. It will definitely cause temporary vision blur! Now all flashlights are tested on the cat. :D

It is small in size and seems incredibly tough. I will try not to torture test it, but I will be carrying it.

This light is definitely on my list. If I don't win it then well I will just have to scrape up the dough. Fingers crossed.

I will upgrade the G2 to the p61 to keep in the house. I have to check out the power of 120 lumens. No that would be blinding!

After the E2E I want to try out the M2/M3. Seems to be addictive, eh?

I am voting for more surefire passaround/raffles. Quite fun and you can't really beat the odds.

Bright! I am now curious about the LED and TID attachments.

I will put this in the mail on Wednesday.

Velitrious is all thats left if I am correct. Almost time to set a Raffle date Mr. Medic!! :D

Staying on top of things BG. Velitrious is the last one on the list. This little baby has really gotten around! Very cool!

We will set the date on or around the day Velitrious gets it, probably for the last day he is to have it or the day before. I'll e-mail everyone the details so they will know in case they don't check the board that often.

Mike

If you all are okay with the timing, how about this:

I'll post here as soon as I receive the light. Medic can then pick the very next drawing to set the winner. That way, when my week is up I can already have the addy and can get it winging its way to the lucky recipient. I don't know the drawing days of the lottery Mike's gonna use, so if we have to pick the winning number before I even receive it, that would be fine too.

I'd rather not have this thing longer than anyone else due to waiting on the drawing. Wouldn't be fair. Better to have the final destination set before I finish with it, IMHO. What say?

Oh, Metaxasm, do you need my addy, or do you have it?

Sounds good to me. The Sebenza drawing is in 3 hours!!

What are the odds that I win the Sebenza, the surefire, the Green Beret, and the Sng???

Still way better than lottery odds. WAY BETTER!!!

Velitrious, when you get it, post here and I'll set a date for a couple days later. This gives everybody a chance to know when to check. It will also give you a few days after to get it ready for shipment. Thanks.

Mike

In the mail. I left the batteries I used in the light(only used about 5 min. total). The fresh packaged Duracell's are in the box as well. Hopefully it will come back. If not I will have to go shopping.

Good luck to all.

Allright guys, it's about time to set a date for the drawing, so let's shoot for TUESDAY, FEB 4th.

I have decided to use the California pick 3 lottery instead of the SC pick 3 for a couple reasons. First, that site is updated almost immediately after the drawing, whereas the SC site may take a couple hours to update. The CA lottery is done at 1:00 Pacific, whereas the SC is done at 6:59pm Eastern. Add on a couple hours for results and you just have to wait too long. Lastly, the CA lottery has two drawings in the same day. A midday and evening, which are held at 1:00 and 6:59 respectively. This gives us a better chance of getting a winner in the first day. On the off chance that all three numbers of the midday drawing don't match any of our numbers, then we will use the evening drawing. This gives us 6 chances that one of our numbers will be drawn. So, again, on Tuesday, Feb 4, check the Pick 3 results for the Midday drawing at 1:00pm Pacific. If no winner, then check the Evening drawing at 6:59pm Pacific. Again, highly unlikely, but if still no winner, just repeat the following day. The number you are in the passaround order, is the number that will determine if you win. If the FIRST number of the pick 3 matches one of our numbers, then that person wins the light. If no match on the very first number, we use the second number, and so on until there is a match. Here is the order the passaround went in, and the number assigned to you.

  1. Medic1210 (NC)
  2. TheBadGuy (VA)
  3. 3nails (KY)
  4. bmstrong (OH)
  5. Ryan0169 (MI)
  6. Metaxasm (CA)
  7. Velitrious (WA)
    [/list=1]

Here is the California Lottery Website. Be sure to check here next Tuesday for the results, and good luck.

MEDIC,you need to win the drawing.Heck, you could light half of N.C. with one of those.I,m gonna check them out.Our issue duty lites are Mag rechargeable which are pretty good for awhile but charge drops off really quick and bulbs are really fragile.

Hey thanks for the vote;). There might be a little jealousy if I win it though, since I just won the Large Classic Sebenza in that passaround.:D I really would like to win this one too. I wouldn't mind buying one of those KL1 lamp assemblies to prolong battery life though. I just don't know if the KL1 will be bright enough to be useful at wreck scenes and such. I really don't know how bright one is, so I have nothing to compare it to (KL1 that is). The only actual flashlight LED light that I own is a cheap Brinkman Legend AA light from Wal Mart. Not really that bright. I do think the KL1 would be brighter, just don't know how bright compared to the halogen lamp.

Got it.
Looked in it.
Pulled trigger.
Not funny.

Feb 4 seems like a good date for the drawing, now doesn't it?

As good as any. I figured this would give you time to get it ready for shipment if you don't win it. You will still get to use it for a week though. Just try and get it shipped out by next Monday if you can (if you don't win it of course;)).

Thanks

Mike

I's only gonna need it for a few days. The object for me in this passaround was to actually compare it against lights I already have available. This is the first Surefire I've ever seen, so it won't take me long to get my experience and review done.

I'll ship it off Thursday or Friday. But it being my B-day in a couple weeks, I figger fortune to roll my way!

To all, thanks for jumping in on this passaround and getting it rolling. Really a good way to kick the tires on a prospective purchase, if'n ya asked me.

DOH! The results of today's drawings don't show up until tomorrow morning. Hey Metaxasm, you from Cali..... what the number???

Aw well, guess we can convene here bright and early tomorrow morning so we can hoist an orange juice (with or sans the vodka) to the new owner. Catch ya then!
