I know a lot of you knife folks also own surefire lights. I picked up an E1 a while back and have been very happy with it. My son, three, somehow decided that it was a good idea to eat the rubber cap covering the button. I emailed surefire and they sent me a replacement free! I got in within 3 days of my email and works like new. I can highly recommend their products and service. I just wish the batteries were cheaper......

I love my SureFire! I have the 9P and man it's like daylight when I use it, they are the best and I agree the batteries are a tad bit high!

the company used to sell packages of batteries really cheap, but I think the maker complained...anyhow I dont see them for sale on their site anymore.

You guys know about the emergency light pack, which comes with 12 Duracells and a 3 lumen bulb? Arizona Gun Runner has them for about 35 bucks. That's less than $3 a battery, which is still kinda expensive, but not for Duracell lithiums.

I ordered one along with an E2 ($49), an extra bulb assembly ($12?), and an 8x spare battery ($12!). I ordered them about a week ago, and should get them this Friday.

If something goes wrong, I'll be sure and post it here!

I'm looking to trade my "LNIB" SureFire 9P (with an "Uncle Mikes" Cordura belt-pouch), for a REKAT knife.

If anyone is interested, feel-free to e-mail me.
