This is an amazing light I hate to pass on, but I need the cash. This guy is a tiny very bright light similar in brightness and beam profile to my Zebralight SC600. I started with a NIB Surefire L4 Lumamax and added a CREE XM-L driven at 2.8A with an [FONT=arial, sans-serif]8xAMC7135 3 Mode Driver (Levels are 5%-30%-100%). This board has reverse polarity protection and a low voltage warning so you know you're running out of juice. The modes are currently low-medium-high, but if you feel like it you can solder the stars on the driver board to get other combos (1-mode High only, 2-mode High/Low). The light has been sealed with waterproof grease, so you can open it with firm pressure if you like (you don't need strap wrenches). I was able to modify the LED base to use the existing retention screws in the head (as well as a bit of Arctic Silver) to get an awesome heat transfer path. I reamed the body out to .690" to give an AW 17670 (.670" diameter) plenty of room to expand, there is even a bit of spare length for those extra long 17670's. I was able to retain the rear shelf in the body so the light will remain under power even if dropped or struck. The voltage for this light is 2.8-6v so your battery options are single LI-Ions or 2x123a (no 2xRCR123, but you can run one and a spacer).

The light is in perfect condition except for the few small nicks in the anodized coating from opening up the head (it was amazingly difficult). The pictures aren't the best, but I don't have my wife's D3100 right now. The beamshot is in the snow to show tint at about 12 yards. The dust is on the outside of the lens in the first picture.
