I lost a tailcap to my Surefire G2 on the WLC reunion camping trip a month ago. I contacted them about buying a replacement and they told me I didn't have to buy one, they would send me one for free. I can't believe the service! I will never hesitate to buy from them again!

Glad you are happy! Mine experience wasn't so pleasant. I had purchased my first Surefire and the pocket clip completely sheared out of the housing. Not sure how, but it could have only come from getting up from a sitting positon since it broke off the very first day I got it. I sent it in with an RMA number provided by Surefire, and within a week is was sent back, "still broken" with no explanation. After several attempts trying to get an contact them for a reason, I was finally told by a rep that I must have "altered" or abused it so it wasn't covered under warranty. It was the first and last Surefire I will buy. I never had problems with Streamlight and they will continue to get my business. Glad they took care of you though!

I have only one surefire and i like them and would buy again, glad to see they had you covered.

I would just like to thank matador for that post. Its rare to see some one say "they screwed me but not you and thats ok" and really mean it. :thumbup:
