Not a bad surgery, but unexpected.

This past Saturday I responded to a "disturbance" call that ended in with the "suspect" in the hospital and a pain in my finger. Worked the remainder of my shift, and noticed a bit of swelling, Sunday, worked the entire shift and noticed I couldnt touch the tip of my finger to the palm. I've had my fair share of sprains, and jambs but this wasn't a "normal" pain. So off to the Doc on Monday. A partially torn tendon in my favorite finger!!!:mad::mad: So I will be giving the one finger salute for the next few weeks while healing up.

If you have any pictures of injured piggies with your favorite Busse's...post 'em!!!!

Soooo tomorrow I get cut, and here is a last image of my flawless middle before it gets cut tomorrow.

Ahhh the old tendon tear! Its a damn shame we don't have more vasculature going to and from tendons, or they would heal MUCH better. Good luck with your surgery J! Take care brother.

EDIT: Wish we could see what the other guy looks like LOL!

Just another war story, buddy. You ... and your finger ... will be back in service in no time.

Sending up a little smoke and prayer, just in case.
 
It's a shame cases don't get to court as quick ... because after the Op when the guy's brief asks you whether you used excessive force ... you can just "flip him" and grin :D

You really could have a great laugh with your finger man :thumbup: I am almost envious ....
 
Good luck! Can sympathize with the tendon tear.

But at least you have the opportunity to use the condition for some real fun ;-) so take it.
