Survival knife ?

^ those are all a little different, with tweaks to the blade geometry, choils, handle contouring and tang profile. Jo, Mark and I have been using, evaluating and tweaking the design this week and dialing it in. I think that Lorien and my group have put our heads together and come up with something better than any single one of us could have done and I feel really good about that.

At .225, the steel is an unusual gauge so we've ordered a run rolled to a custom thickness which is going to add a few weeks to the process, but we have material on order for this project and hope to start cutting chips for the first run of ~150 soon.

It would only last more than 1 minute because the sudden rush would crash the BF servers. Given enough server bandwidth, I would bet a shiv the sale of 150 would still only last 15sec.

Btw, Im not sure if the handles are diff. but the one on the bottom of the second pic looks the best. Im not a huge fan of the LC..with that humpo/palm swell on the back, that Dan loves. I dont

Last one looks best IMO. straight back, with palm swell on bottom

they're different. I'm not 100 on this, but I think the racey grind one has the handle I submitted, but I'm not sure

I'd planned to curb my spending on new production knives this year to concentrate on picking up some of the antique blades I've been wanting. Seeing this knife probably just doomed that plan. It looks like it would have real potential to instantly become my favorite in it's size range. Well played, sir.
 
BMF'er (top knife in top photo) looks killer!
I like the grind height and all of those fancy scientifical colors in the blood groove![emoji6]

Lorein, I love racy grinds. Yes I like the look of that handle also.

I'm really liking the look of this knife, and I like that it has a usable choil for choking up. Hopefully you will have some of these at Blade Show if not before.
