Survival Knife

If you were stuck in the woods what knife would you take. It can be anything. Im not looking for reccomendations just opinions because i am bored. I would chose a a1 pro.
Firstly, if you are STUCK in the woods or find yourself in any other survival situation, you've probably already made a series of poor decisions which got you stuck in the first place.

Secondly, since being STUCK in the woods or any other survival situation isn't pre-planned, you'll have whatever knife you carried into the woods without an ability to exchange it. SO, consider what you take in the woods and why.

That said, I'd likely have a Victorinox Farmer and an Ulster Peanut (and perhaps a GEC paring knife) as that's usually what I have on my in the woods.

;) Just make your own ! Must remember to EDC your two part epoxy .

any nice 4 to 6 inch blade with micarta scales will suffice
Bark River
TRC
Survive
CPK
Koster
Fiddleback Forge
Fallkniven

I would most likely to be carrying something like an ESEE 6 in that situation and I think it would do well for some tasks, but I think for most survival tasks in the woods a Becker 9 would be better.

I'd take just about any decent knife (Mora Robust for example) so long it is attached to a Personal Locator Beacon.

At under $300 I think the PLB is the best thing for survival since the compass (assuming the compass was invented after the knife and the map).
