OK everyone, I'm looking for a Survival/outdoor knife. 6- 12 inch blade, full tang, made in USA, and under $200. Not a becker, I like 'em but I just got 2 :D. Thanks everyone.

Boker Vox Rold-awesome knife built like a tank and created by Jesper Voxnaes. D2 blade and g10 handle but not made in the USA, but its a great knife. Lowest price anywhere-http://kennesawcutlery.com/Fixed-Blade-Knives/Boker-Plus-Voxknives-Rold

Other than that check TOPS, they have several good candidates and definatly check out B.R.T bladeworks(Ben R.T. on this forum) This is one he makes with a 6-1/2" blade I believe and its only like $215 which ain't bad for a hand made custom. Here's a pic of it

ESSE 6 (6" blade) or Junglas (10" blade)
full tang, 1095, 3/16" thick, micarta scales and good sheath.

Ontario Ranger knives RD6 or RD9 -- 1/4" thick 5160, scales are incredibly blocky but that can be fixed with a belt sander. Even after adding an aftermarket sheath, you'll be under the $200 mark.

Ritter Perseverance Mk II (BK12) -- not really a Becker, but uses Becker scales -- made in USA, fits in a spec ops combat master short. 6" drop point blade 3/16" thick 1095 steel -- made by the same shop that produces the ESEE blades.

DAMN! Thats one of the nicest knives I've seen in a while! My Favorite knife anyone's suggested so far. Thanks man!... But what are the little brass things under the handle for?

weights so you can customize the balance point.
here's a comparison shot between an ESEE 6 & ESEE 5:

Swamp Rat RatManDu - blade is a little under 6", great tool. Available in the Swamp.
Swamp Rat Rodent 9 - just out, $200 9" SR-101 blade, I do not own one, though. Available in the Swamp.
Scrapyard 711 - out TODAY, $120 7" SR-101 blade, available in the Yard.

And there are a LOT of custom makers out there....

Cold steel recon scout or trail master. I'd skip both and go with fallkniven but you said USA only. 0.o

+1 on the Swamp Rat Ratmandu
The steel will have better edge holding and be tougher than 1095. The handle is very comfortable, for me at least.

Hmm, that picture makes we want to buy a second one.

I recently got this one. It is a Tops Alaskan Harpoon. Cost just south of 140. I like it a lot. 1/4" 1095. Black linen micarta handle material. But really, there are SOOOOO many good choices out there, good luck. :D
