Survival Knives and what do you put in that hollow handle?

Any good places to get a canister or a compass?

The nostalgia and laughs are hitting hard with this thread.

As a kid, mine had some fishing lure and hooks in it and a sheath that could be turned into a slingshot.
I remember those, the slingshot wasn't half bad, the survival saw sucked. Blade was softer steel, too bad somebody doesn't do a better version of that knife or rather, the sheath. Be nice to see that offered as a standalone item.

Yep the sheath wasn't half bad. I used the heck out of mine as a kid and always had it with me every day of the summer.

That is a nice looking knife- very similar to the CRKs.
I carry a one piece (usually a mountaineer) frequently when doing work that would gum up a folder, but don’t usually carry anything in the handle. I would definitely go with a lighter and maybe some water purifier tabs.
I really like this style of knife- I already looked up that maker!!!

Much respect! Whoa.

I'm very curious about your handle loadouts!

Thank you. There are a million possibilities, but this kit is by far the most popular one we offer. You can easily put it together yourself, we just heat seal it into a waterproof plastic bag for easy insertion/removal into the handle of the knife, and for an added degree of protection against moisture.

I understand everything included ...except for the quarter ? :p

We still have a payphone in my tiny little town. When I'm feeling really nostalgic, I dig up one of the many phone cards that I had from years ago. I'm pretty sure I still have minutes on some of them.🤣🤣

Ah shucks , I still remember pay phones and understand what it meant to " drop a dime " ! ;)

You could probably squeeze a large sandwich bag and some puritabs in there.

You can hold water in a sandwich bag for a surprisingly long time.
