After seeing some discussion on this, I have bought the knife but not tested it extensively yet.
In reply to earlier posts describing it as a sharpened pry bar, it is thinner than other such knives such as Esse 5 or BK2. It is no thicker than many other knives in its category.
The handle is beautifully comfortable, the knife is nicely balanced and fit and finish excellent
I like the choice of steel. Aus 8 is reasonably tough and easy to sharpen which suits me. It also keeps the cost down.
It arrived sharp, but could stand a little thinning behind the edge The sheath is good quality but a little too tight.
I will evaluate the knife on its own merits, in the category it is, and irrespective of the designer. I know little about her other than the fact that she was helpful and communicative to deal with.
Overall I like the knife and am glad I bought it.
I'll report back when I have tested it more thoroughly .

That's a bit too expensive for Taiwanese AUS8. The marketing on it is a bit silly. Certainly wouldn't be the one apocalyptic knife I'd choose. Pay more and get a better steel. I mean, how much is your survival worth.

And if the op does what she does in her videos, this knife will be ruined too.

I got one to, so far messing around, haven't found much to complain about. Knife seems well suited to camp/field stuff. Same as the OP though, the sheath is oddly very tight. Mine's the newer G10 handled version, which I'd have probably preferred the micarta one, but goofed around and didn't order fast enough.

It definitely shows it's ancestry in the Cold Steel SRK (Which she's admitted is one of her favorite knives).

She does some things that make me cringe, but the knife itself seems like a decent enough tool.

I have to put my two bits in this collage of criticisms without suggested alternatives. This lady stuck her neck out,
Invested her reputation and money in a project that she believed in. Most of the critics of her bold effort
haven't invested anything but hot air. I am a Vietnam Special Forces Ranger and I say "WAY TO GO GIRL"!
Randall was my go to blade.

A "bold effort" is great, but it doesn't make something well-designed, original, functional, etc etc

I mean I could glue feathers on my arms and jump off a building. It would be a bold effort but....

Hmmm, is that so. It sounds like a conflict of interest. Did you take time off from SF and go work as a Ranger and vice versa - constantly switching between SF and Rangers is quite the administrative feat? Were the units okay with you moonlighting for the the other guys?

To blade scout,"paper or plastic?"
That makes no sense (either).
US Army Rangers and US Army Special Forces (aka Green Berets) are two different entities.
Would you please explain, how you could be in two different units at the same time? Im sure you have an explanation for this.

So far I'm pleased with the knife. It chops very well for a blade of this length and the edge seems to hold up well. It is very comfortable and secure in the hand.
It works well for snap cuts, cutting brambles etc.
I'll update as and when I use it further.
