Survival Quiz

Maybe not the best quiz but it got us all to thinking again and that's always good. Around here, a cell phone won't do you any good at all if you are more than 40 miles from the nearest interstate hi way. How ever searchers in a plane may be able to pick up a signal. That I don't know about. To high tech for me. I almost always have mine with me just in case.

The food one I knew because I have gone a couple weeks with no food several times in the service. It ain't fun but when you are young and strong, it's doable for sure. Most of my survival situations have been in or near water. That said, often water that you could drink was a bigger problem than food.

well i got thinking and a cell phone isn't to bad of a choice, you might be able to use the screen as a signaling mirror, antenna (if its older model) you might be able to sharpen for a small fish harpoon, use the batteries and wires to create a spark, and who knows what else. but just to have an extra phone in a survival kit just to call 911 and say hey im lost come find me and i tryed the whole head between my knees thing but im not that flexable isn't to good of an idea.

I got 11, 12, 13, and 16 wrong. The author puts a lot too much emphasis on cell phones.
